Got an oil change today. Dumb of me to not check my car before leaving but when i got home i realized they completely destroyed my passenger side mirror cover. The gross negligence or intentional damage done here is beyond me. I tried this location because the coconut creek location has poor service and now i know Delray is worse. EDIT: Absolutely insane…. Just realized as well that there are glue lines… so they tried to glue it together and not even say anything to me. If i don’t hear back immediately i will consult a third party.

A couple weeks ago, I was in South Florida for a work trip, and my faithful VW stuttered in fifth gear and threw an engine light and two pages' worth of codes. Gunther Delray was the closest dealership. They were able to examine and repair my car earlier than expected, corrected the software issue under recall, and located a small crack in the air intake hose in the process. Shout-out to Lucas, Drew, and Oscar for outstanding service and communication. Oscar, your inspection video was gold -- I appreciate your attention to detail and informativeness on what to watch out for in the future. Thanks, Gunther team, for getting my car back on the road.

I feel that the service was good but the prices are not. We dropped the car off at 7:30 but they didn’t look at it until around 2pm. They quoted prices for each job, but no way to combine jobs and work to make the work reasonable. I felt that 4500 to fix the oil leaks may have been a little excessive. It may be cheaper to buy a new car/motor. The other 4500 to fix the check engine light, brakes and windshield wipers was also a little steep. Did not offer suggestions/alternatives, or any outside of the box thinking. No discounts or helpful advice. Did charge a 3% fee to use a credit card on top of the $200 diagnostic fee though. Should have just scheduled a 70,000 mile service. Would have included diagnostic and maintenance on some items. The total $9,000 quote may have been a little out of the affordable range for service. I do have to admit that warranty work we have had done on our other car was perfect. They do great work. But it’s not affordable if out of warranty.
