These guys are fantastic. I got a huge nail in one of my tires on the forest roads north of town the day before elk season opened. I popped into JH Mountain Auto unannounced late on a Friday afternoon. Adam and the team had my tire patched and ready to go in less than half an hour for a very reasonable price.

I’d take my vehicle to JH Mountain Auto for any and all needs - great service, great prices, and they’re fast.

They are just amazing at their ability to accommodate an emergency tire problem at last minute. Prior to calling them, I was rejected at four other shops in the area who claimed that they were booked a week into the future. JH did the job quickly, their billing system is extremely efficient, and then four weeks later when I wanted a copy of my bill for reimbursement purposes, they were able to provide it with quick five minute phone call. They are remarkably organized, efficient, and very accommodating. They are clearly the best tire shop I have ever visited. There is nothing better in Colorado!

This place knows what great customer service is. Got a flat tire on the highway from Denver to Montrose. I installed the spare tire and drove to their garage. They started to work on it right away, didn’t have to get a new tire, just had to fix the tire. Half a hour later, I was good to hit the road again. I wanted to put 10 stars on 5 but Google doesn’t let me do it. A+++ for these guys! I recommend to everyone!

I had a major overheating issue on the way from Eagle to Denver. JH Mountain Auto was a shot in the dark based on where I broke down. I cannot say enough about how well I was treated by Adam. He worked with me on diagnostics and worked with my insurance company. They did an awesome job on the repair as well. Highly recommended!!!

Sudden brake issues while driving across the state. These guys diagnosed the issue and replaced the rotors and we were back on the road about 90 minutes after walking in. They were friendly as well and gave us plenty of helpful information that they didn't need to. I don't know if we got a good price or not, about $800 for four rotors, but they get 5 stars just for saving our vacation.

Honestly, one of the most exceptional experiences I’ve had in an auto shop. I burned my brake rotors coming down the Eisenhower tunnel, which I later heard is fairly common, and I was not only able to have it promptly repaired, but the guy running the desk (wish I had snagged his name!) taught me how to downshift. We don’t have hills where I’m from; I had no idea downshifting was even a thing!
JH Mountain Auto goes above & beyond! I’d trust these guys with my life, seriously! Lifesavers!

5 stars doubled ! F -150 check engine light came on during a drive from steamboat to silverthorne while pulling a camper. Point of trip was to get someone to a cancer surgery , so we were trying to keep it fun. Knowing from previous experience how awful silverthorne ford is, and the most important part of the trip being to get to the cancer surgery in Vail tomorrow, we went straight to rent a car. We were fortunate enough to be referred to adam at JH mountain auto services. Kevin immediately figured out the problem, Adam ordered the parts and had us fixed up within an hour. This was at 5 PM! I cannot rave about them enough. Thanks to JH for the amazing rescue !
